B.W. Barkery started out as a desire to make healthy treats for our two boys, Bufford a Cocker Spaniel, and Walker, a Golden Retriever (hence the B.W.) It has now turned into a obsession.

Walker was allergic to wheat, so I started doing a lot of research on how to handle the allergy and what to feed him, and everything escalated from there. I found that a lot of the so-called healthy dog foods and treats were misrepresented just like in people-food. From that point on I made it my mission to make healthy dog treats with real ingredients so that all the other dogs in the world could enjoy the same healthy treats mine do.

We use only certified organic ingredients, wild caught Alaskan salmon and locally harvested ingredients. Only the best for my boys and all the other well deserving dogs out there who are lucky enough to have their Moms and Dads buy them treats from B.W. Barkery.

Sadly both our boys passed away in early 2010, just four months apart. The good thing was they were there for all the taste testing and sampling of our treats, which needless to say passed their inspection and got the B.W. Barkery seal of approval. We have since adopted two beautiful golden boys from Golden Retriever rescue and they are now carrying on the legacy of Bufford and Walker. And baby makes three as we have recently added a new golden puppy to the family his name is Thompson Turner a.k.a. puppy paws.

B.W. Barkery has branched out and we are now creating and selling pet accessories including collars, leashes, beds, toys, and more.We also have a feline collection including cat treats, toys and collars, so please check back often and see what else we have come up with!
